FAQ
The process normally takes between 2½ and 4 hours; in extreme cases where it's been painted before, maybe 4-5.
Our glaze has a 24-hour usability.
The smells are not dangerous to people or animals. We exhaust through a window fan or a powerful 3,100-cfm suction fan. While you may smell a slight odor, it will be minimal, and our fumes are 100% environmentally safe. Smells are not bad for you; fumes are, and we exhaust all fumes carefully.
Clean out the bathroom as much as possible. If there are any water leaks in the tub or shower faucets, these must be repaired first. Also, we ask that if there is any soap residue on the tub or the tile, it be removed as well. We will also do our best to remove any soap films. The cleaner your bathroom is, the less chance there is of something falling in the glaze.
We provide top-quality workmanship and durability. If your tub has been painted with a spray gun or brush, we can remove it and put our durable, expensive, top-quality GLAZE on, and you can rest assured it WILL last. Do-It-Yourself kits never last and should never be used.
With proper cleaning and some simple, regular care, it should last for many years to come. But a five-year guarantee gives you confidence that we will be there to repair the tub in the unlikely event that the glaze peels to any fault of our own. We have seen our personal glaze and workmanship last over 20 years so far, but I'm betting some are even longer; we just haven't kept track of customers since 1988!
